In 2002, ASOEX begins the promotion activities in Mexico and Colombia under the so-called program “Descubra los sabores de Chile” (Discover the flavors of Chile), trying out in the year 2004 a televised commercial, "Centuries" in the market of Guadalajara, Mexico.
The message coming from both campaigns is intended as much as to the final consumer as to the commercial sector, thus including importers, traditional retailers (public markets and popular fairs) and supermarket chains. Their basic goals are to increase the market contribution of the Chilean fruit, to underpin trade within the Mexican market, to generate recognition of our fresh fruit’s image and to consolidate Chile like a reliable supplying country.
